A Hero's Legacy
Scotty's Little Soldiers' short film about Corporal Lee Scott, a loyal soldier, dedicated husband and loving father, and how he has inspired a movement that has gone on to support hundreds of bereaved military children and young people.
In 2009, Corporal Lee Scott, of the Royal Tank Regiment, was killed while on tour in Afghanistan. He left behind his wife and two young children, Kai and Brooke.
Army widow, Nikki Scott, set up Scotty’s Little Soldiers the following year to provide specialised bereavement support for bereaved British Forces children and young people.
In November, the whole country remembers, but at Scotty's Little Soldiers, we remember every day.
Services offered to Scotty’s members include access to specialised bereavement support, guidance and workshops for parents and carers, personal education and learning assistance (including grants), and fun activities such as holiday respite breaks and group events. These are all designed to remind the children and young people supported by Scotty’s that they are not alone.
