Fundraising for British Armed Forces Children’s Charity
Thinking about fundraising for an Armed Forces charity? Want to support a children’s charity? Why not do both and fundraise for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Armed Forces children.
First you’ll need to decide what type of fundraising it is you are interested in taking part in. If you’re up for a physical challenge you might want to check out our dedicated Scotty Challenges website, packed with events like Spartan Race, Rough Runner, overseas treks, cycle challenges, running events, sky dives and even bungee jumps!
If you’re representing a business you might want to check out our Scotty’s Business Heroes club. Sign up to be a business hero for a small monthly donation and we’ll work closely with you to engage your colleagues throughout the year with lots of great activities. Alternatively you might want to do a one-off workplace fundraiser such as a cake sale or one of our own events like Scotty’s Bobble Hat Day!
If a physical challenge is not for you there are plenty of other ways you can get involved and support the charity. Hold a quiz night at your local pub, organise a collection at a supermarket, have a dress down day at work or organise your own Britain’s Got Talent show.
Once you’ve got your idea we need you to register your fundraising activity with us. You can do this in the fundraising section of the website or by clicking here. Once we have all the details we’ll send you over an email confirmation complete with your unique fundraising number and a fundraising pack with tips on raising money and how to deposit it once you’ve finished. It’s important to register your activity so we can offer support and in case a member of the public wants to check your fundraising is authentic. It also means we’ll have your details so we’ll be able to thank you when you’ve finished!
If you’re interested in joining or starting a fundraising volunteer group in your area you can find out more by clicking here.
Finally, you can also show your support by wearing your Scotty gear with pride. We have a range of adults and kids clothing and general merchandise on offer via our webshop. Just click here to take a look. 100% of the profits made from sales go directly back into the charity.
Whatever you choose to do – it all makes a huge difference to children who have lost a parent serving in the British Armed Forces. With your support we can #HelpTheirChildrenSmile.
